Cute Panda Def Panda: January 2014

Projects, Projects, Projects

I have been distracted from my blog and forum projects. My to-do list:

First and foremost my "baby" SSCPO, is basically done in regards to design. She is set to be self-sufficient with automatic Blogger---> Facebook---> Twitter posts. The alt-bot Twitter account that spews Pokemon RSS feeds, needs some "pruning" and a few new feeds. Sadly one of the feeds will likely never make it back on because of too much spam being posted, since the Twitter is automated, it Tweets Spambefore it can be removed from the source. This leaves a dead spam link on  the Twitter. There is plenty more work to do with the Poke'Net... a lot.I just wish the other members of SSPCO and I had more time to post.We have online battles once a week usually. Shield and nWo have been putting in some real time on their Pokemon X&Y.

Then there is D20: Project Dinosaur. That has been on total hiatus for some time now. I hope to get back to that asap.Shield (Joe), me and our fianceee's played the V6 Engine (Atomic Highway) which gave me some inspiration for some optional "House Rules". I was never able to finish my class on paleontology because they used high end tech, and I still only have an iPhone and crap Android ZTE to work with.

On the subject of dinosaurs; there is a forum called JP Legacy that I have wanted to do work in since I found it about five years ago. At the time I had less experience with RP and tech. Now that I have the knowledge and first hand experience, I intend to make the time to contribute there. What better time than the year Jurassic World is released? Steve (nWo) and I need to go see that when it is theaters. Now I just need to find a project/niche that I can fill. They also have the LtL RP, as of right now I have no intentions of participating on that forum for quite some time. This is because I have too many other RP projects and games to play at the moment. Including Jurassic Park Builder.

This is now my first post with the Bluetooth keyboard Joe gave me. The only downside is it feels like I have to pound the space bar to get it to work, other than that it is of course, by far superior. This keyboard should absolutely help in coding the websites and our (Joe & I) joint RPG production. The game will be a Ruby Scripted learning experience for the both of us. Joe has far more experience with the program we will be using and he is ahead of me on learning Ruby. All in all, I would say that I have the most coding experience between the two of us, and I intend to apply that to coding to Crafting and Reputation mechanics. Joe has absolutely more experience with the graphics and locale design of maps. Admittedly we will be using many, already made codes, but with full intentions of heavy changes to the code. The way I self taught XHTML and all other languages, was by taking full chunks of code and diving right in.

I have other design and publishing projects not publicly connected to Def Panda Designs yet, for my own mysterious reasons. All I will say about them, is that they also are on my to-do list, that takes up my spare time, when I have it.

I still have plenty of reading to catch up on  in the saga, A Song of Ice and Fire, and season three of Game of Thrones to watch.

I should probably freshen up Def Panda Productions. It is definately the most neglected of them all.

I want to thank my muses, Samantha and Elizabeth. Without Samantha none of this would be in existence. Without Elizabeth I would have only the boring inspiration of adults, and no magic spark that she brings to my life.
