Because I have not posted in this dump for a while.

I have delved into herbal extracts for medicinal purposes such as Myrrh, Lavender, Frankincense, etc. etc. Right now I have a Myrrh external use tincture macerating, and has been for about two months. I get my herbs from a local shop called the Dragons Mantle. Coinciding with the herbalism I have studied Alchemy on and off for a few months now.

I created a couple of very short stop motion video tests and uploaded them to my YouTube Channel. Also the Street Sharks Full Series Playlist has over 1k views... I did not see that coming. I have had a YouTube account for a while now, quite a while, but did not do much to it until a few months back, just making Playlists of mostly 80's cartoons. I only have three subscribers, two of which I know in RL so I don't how much that counts :p

Finally got around to tinkering with my registry files to tweak the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Policies\System
Legal Notice registries and put a custom message that shows up before the login/lock screen. I really want to customize this machine, and that is a small victory for the moment.

NOTICEI do not recommend anyone try this without a decent understanding of registry files and how they work, I would not open one to even read it without basic understanding, you can seriously F.U.B.A.R. your machine. Please don't read this and think you can even find these files the normal way you would for pictures or videos on your PC using File Explorer, just don't touch it.

P.S. There is a new addition, the Members link above this post. I really need to give this craphole blog an update....

Video Games, Beer, and Wikia

Well, I slacked off on the LtL Wiki the last few days. I got one page mostly fixed up last night, trying to get back into the groove. I have good reasons to be slacking though. Joe (cousin) came over for the weekend, and we tried out Project Spark, absolutely mind blowing. Even Samantha (fiancée) was getting into it. The graphics are stunning and with this laptops touch screen, the design mechanics are the coolest I have ever used for game making. Then Joe's fiancée Christine came over Sat. and we ended up staying up and playing board games.

As far as the home brewing with Mr. Beer's kit... Since all I have at the moment is the kit and not all the gadgets, and because Steve was not able to make it out this weekend, I decided against starting the first batch. Also, we have two more kegs for brewing on the way in the mail. According to the estimate, this Tues. the brewing supplies will be here anyways. So this weekend (HOPEFULLY) Steve & Joe can get here so we can brew. Honestly though, I may not wait any longer even if neither can show up. it takes at least six weeks before you can take a drink, so I definitely want to get started A.S.A.P. I have made a blog, Ohio Brew Crew, so we can log all of this from the start. I will also be uploading vlog's to this YouTube channel.

D.P.D. V 2.0: Under Heavy Construction

Before I begin, I want to thank my fiancée, Samanatha. She made all of this possible, literally... all of it. Thanks babe.

I was contemplating just making a new website, away from Blogger, to house all of my stuff, as well as connect to my fanboys.91@gmail.com and not my wn.d20.gm@gmail.com, instead I just moved the old Def Panda Designs to a new URL under the "fanboys" email. I am used to blogger, so that is where I will stay. It makes Social Networking a breeze. Anyways...

I now have a very, very nice laptop, so I will be able to tackle all of the things I mentioned in prior posts. the only thing I will not touch is the paleobiology class. The deadline is April, and I have way to many other things to work on right now, instead of catching up in a whole class in just one month... I will pass. Besides now I can make this blog look better. I think I may dissolve D20: Project Dinosaur into a page, for here. It is not going anywhere publically, so I will just archive the bits that I have.

I have been doing and will continue to do work over at LtL Wiki recently. I am going in and "debugging" (universally coding) the Wiki pages in the "Playable Species List". I have been over at the JPLegacy Board (Forums) and the LtL Forums (RP), and eventually I wound up learning Wiki code and then heavily suggested to the Staff they let me "fix" the Wiki, through updating its information, up to par with the LtL Field Guides, and code fixes, resulting in a unified layout for Playable Species individual pages. This will definitely keep me busy by itself.... but there is more.

I now have some new (used) PS2 games that need playing, but that is besides the point. We (my fiancée and I)  have the newest Xbox 360, with a year of Live. But that is not all, Joe ( the one I am going to work on a video game creation with) had a code that he could not use for Project Spark Beta... yes, oh my God. So that is cool, I mean... what can I say, but holy s*%t. That will be...I cant even explain it. So definitely stay tuned for that.

I got a "Beer Kit"- Mr. Beer -from my fiancée on my birthday, I am psyched! Joe, Steve and I are going to brew some of our own beer! Later on today I am going to order some more stuff from the website, and wait anxiously on the mail man. So definitely more on that, as it develops, will be posted here, at least at first. I may move it somewhere else, but that is up to the guys really.

I will be sprucing up this place too. Just because it looks too dull, and I need some more practice anyways. With my own Windows 8 laptop, I think I can manage, much, much, better than a phone like I have done with %95 of my creations so far. That number is rapidly diminishing, working over at the LtL Wiki. I also want to touch up Scuba Squad Pokémon Club Online (SSPCO) a bit, it has been a while. Blah blah blah....

Projects, Projects, Projects

I have been distracted from my blog and forum projects. My to-do list:

First and foremost my "baby" SSCPO, is basically done in regards to design. She is set to be self-sufficient with automatic Blogger---> Facebook---> Twitter posts. The alt-bot Twitter account that spews Pokemon RSS feeds, needs some "pruning" and a few new feeds. Sadly one of the feeds will likely never make it back on because of too much spam being posted, since the Twitter is automated, it Tweets Spambefore it can be removed from the source. This leaves a dead spam link on  the Twitter. There is plenty more work to do with the Poke'Net... a lot.I just wish the other members of SSPCO and I had more time to post.We have online battles once a week usually. Shield and nWo have been putting in some real time on their Pokemon X&Y.

Then there is D20: Project Dinosaur. That has been on total hiatus for some time now. I hope to get back to that asap.Shield (Joe), me and our fianceee's played the V6 Engine (Atomic Highway) which gave me some inspiration for some optional "House Rules". I was never able to finish my class on paleontology because they used high end tech, and I still only have an iPhone and crap Android ZTE to work with.

On the subject of dinosaurs; there is a forum called JP Legacy that I have wanted to do work in since I found it about five years ago. At the time I had less experience with RP and tech. Now that I have the knowledge and first hand experience, I intend to make the time to contribute there. What better time than the year Jurassic World is released? Steve (nWo) and I need to go see that when it is theaters. Now I just need to find a project/niche that I can fill. They also have the LtL RP, as of right now I have no intentions of participating on that forum for quite some time. This is because I have too many other RP projects and games to play at the moment. Including Jurassic Park Builder.

This is now my first post with the Bluetooth keyboard Joe gave me. The only downside is it feels like I have to pound the space bar to get it to work, other than that it is of course, by far superior. This keyboard should absolutely help in coding the websites and our (Joe & I) joint RPG production. The game will be a Ruby Scripted learning experience for the both of us. Joe has far more experience with the program we will be using and he is ahead of me on learning Ruby. All in all, I would say that I have the most coding experience between the two of us, and I intend to apply that to coding to Crafting and Reputation mechanics. Joe has absolutely more experience with the graphics and locale design of maps. Admittedly we will be using many, already made codes, but with full intentions of heavy changes to the code. The way I self taught XHTML and all other languages, was by taking full chunks of code and diving right in.

I have other design and publishing projects not publicly connected to Def Panda Designs yet, for my own mysterious reasons. All I will say about them, is that they also are on my to-do list, that takes up my spare time, when I have it.

I still have plenty of reading to catch up on  in the saga, A Song of Ice and Fire, and season three of Game of Thrones to watch.

I should probably freshen up Def Panda Productions. It is definately the most neglected of them all.

I want to thank my muses, Samantha and Elizabeth. Without Samantha none of this would be in existence. Without Elizabeth I would have only the boring inspiration of adults, and no magic spark that she brings to my life.

Progress

I have been making good headway on Scuba Squad Poke'Mon Club Online. If I had a working computer instead of only an Android and iPhone to work with, much more would be complete. The forum, sound, cursor graphic, making the logo smoother, and just all around better processing power. At the next met up for the club I intend to use nWo and/or Shields computron to get things in order.

Busy

I have been working hard on SSPCO in getting all three accounts (blogger, facebook page, and twitter) synced. As well as the recent edition, completely automated @RSSPokeMon aka SSPCO Projekt. I am very proud to be lead designer on the blog, forum, and twitter accounts. Shield runs and designed %100 the facebook page. The only thing I did was sync it 2nd in line.

With the good came the annoying. Error codes for blogger's mobile template, a twitter account suspension, spam etc. etc.

With all of this, life, and Poke'Mon Y. I totally abandoned D20:Project Dinosaur and all other online projects. But the price paid is well worth it.

Dino Dillema

I have put D20: Project Dinosaur on hold in order to better understand Dinosaurs. I am enrolled in Dino 101 at Coursera & Alberta University. I recommend this to anyone, the course is free.

I have made another blog. I know, I know. It is an Amateur Archosauria blog. I will start discussion by unbiasd theory analysis. Specifically in the field of paleobiology.
