Progress

I have been making good headway on Scuba Squad Poke'Mon Club Online. If I had a working computer instead of only an Android and iPhone to work with, much more would be complete. The forum, sound, cursor graphic, making the logo smoother, and just all around better processing power. At the next met up for the club I intend to use nWo and/or Shields computron to get things in order.

Busy

I have been working hard on SSPCO in getting all three accounts (blogger, facebook page, and twitter) synced. As well as the recent edition, completely automated @RSSPokeMon aka SSPCO Projekt. I am very proud to be lead designer on the blog, forum, and twitter accounts. Shield runs and designed %100 the facebook page. The only thing I did was sync it 2nd in line.

With the good came the annoying. Error codes for blogger's mobile template, a twitter account suspension, spam etc. etc.

With all of this, life, and Poke'Mon Y. I totally abandoned D20:Project Dinosaur and all other online projects. But the price paid is well worth it.

Dino Dillema

I have put D20: Project Dinosaur on hold in order to better understand Dinosaurs. I am enrolled in Dino 101 at Coursera & Alberta University. I recommend this to anyone, the course is free.

I have made another blog. I know, I know. It is an Amateur Archosauria blog. I will start discussion by unbiasd theory analysis. Specifically in the field of paleobiology.

D20: Project Dinoasaur

My fiancee' and I are rolling up characters to use for play testing. It is tricky on a phone. This whole project is tricky. Good news though Brian from dontmesswithdinosaurs.com replied to my email and so far so good. I informed him a little more on the end result of the project, to make a free dino bestiary to download. Told him I wasn't interested in money or ads. Asked to put his art in the beastiary for download. Waiting for his next response.

D20: Project Dinosaur

From what I understand a creature found in the real world is Open Game Content. That makes sense. With that being said, I don' t think there will ever be copyright infringement. Even taking a dinosaur from D&D and converting it to d20 Modern, as long as it is not a dino with a name like "King Tyrannus" there is no problem. Besides that you see plenty of fan made campaigns/worlds with various mixes of copyright protected game mechanics and skins. Like Redwall with D&D 3.5 rules, or Halo with GURPS. Neither company ever seems to do anything. D20: Project Dinosaur consists of Open Game Mechanics and real world creatures. The transparency of the processes to "flesh out" or improve existing d20 Modern dinosaurs, will give credit to the owners of any derivitive material, as well as seeking permission for its use, is very important.

Other Google Profile

fanboys.91@gmail.com

used to be Mighty Krang and is now under my name. This is the account tied to Facebook and Scuba Squad Pokemon Club. I decided that with the creation of Def Panda Designs it was a good idea to have MY name.

D20: Project Dinosaur

A project I started to get a d20 dinosaur beastiary/monster manual created. The key to this, is to create, convert, or tweak dinosaurs for d20, with attention to real scientific knowledge of dinosaurs. I am aware of Cretasus & Bronchiosaurus Rex, I just think if I fight a velociraptor, I don't want it talking back. Also in Cretasus Veliciraptors are... tribal. Paleontolgy has had no evidence they even hunted in packs. Oh, by the way, Jurassic Park, is seriously flawed. Especially with Velociraptors (notice a pattern?), the dinosaur they call a Velociraptor is actually based on Deinonychus. Velociraptors were the size of a turkey, and were not very bright mentally, and had feathers. Tyrannosaurus had proto-feathers... see my point?

Scuba Squad Poke'Mon Club

Scuba Squad Poke'Mon Club started on Platinum/Diamond/Pearl as an inside joke. Then I decided to make a blog to stay connected. The club consists of family and friends with only five members. It was thought up in 2011 and online since 2013. Since the blog was made, I made a Twitter account with the pseuedonym Tom Ato. In case you didn't know: Tom Ato was an alias used by Ash in season one, while dealing with the Yaz and Kaz gyms. Joe (an SSPC member) made a facebook page for the club recently.
I have negletected both the blog and the Twitter for a while. I have plans to create a forum on ProBoards for SSPC, unless another member beats me to it. For an example check out D20: Project Dinosaur then go to the forum link... same basic idea.
With X & Y on the horizon I need to get crackin'!
